Skin Excision Information
A skin excision is a simple, safe, and effective way of removing skin cancers, cysts, or other growths. Under local anesthesia, a margin of skin is cut around the lesion.
Mohs Surgery Information
Mohs Micrographic surgery is a specialized, highly effective technique for the removal of skin cancer. The procedure was developed in the 1930's by Dr. Frederic Mohs at the University of Wisconsin and is now practiced throughout the world.

What are the risks of surgery? a. As with any surgical procedure, the normal risks are permanent visible scar, bleeding/bruising, pain, infection, numbness and recurrence. We will discuss the risks in more detail at your consultation appointment.
