Alex Zwierzynski, P.A.
Alex began his undergraduate coursework in the direct entry Physician Assistant program at Le Moyne College in 2016. He graduated summa cum laude in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Alex was a member of the National Jesuit Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu, as well as the National Biological Science Honor Society, Beta Beta Beta. Upon his graduation, Alex also received the Marie Arnold Chapin Medal in Biological Sciences and The H. Paul Nelligan Medal in Pure Science for his high achievement in biological sciences.
In August of 2021, Alex then graduated with his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During his time in physician assistant school, Alex served as president of the Le Moyne College Physician Assistant Student Society, organizing numerous community service events for the Syracuse community. Upon graduation, he received the Father J. Bucki Memorial Award, an award given to one graduating student for their outstanding dedication to community service and medical humanities.
While at Reflections Dermatology, Alex has become a Diplomat Fellow through The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, where he now volunteers as a committee member. He has also earned a Certification of Additional Qualifications in Dermatology (CAQ-Derm) and sits on the Dermatology Form Review Committee through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Outside of the office, you can find Alex hiking around Syracuse or the Adirondacks, puttering around on a golf course, or watching the Syracuse game.
