Anne Sveen, MD
Dr. Sveen graduated with a B.A. in Biology, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Colgate University in 1990. She then earned her MD from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1994. She completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics from SUNY Upstate in 1997, and is board certified in General Pediatrics. After 2 years in private practice as a general pediatrician in Ithaca, she returned to Syracuse and joined the faculty in the Department of Pediatrics at Upstate, where she has practiced for the past 25 years. During that time, she developed a specialty in pediatric dermatology and has been solely practicing pediatric dermatology for the past 10 years while being with Reflections Dermatology for 5 years. She has done multiple lectures for students and residents at Upstate, as well as many invited lectures relating to topics in pediatric dermatology.
She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, Diplomate in the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
She resides in Skaneateles, NY with her husband and 3 daughters. She enjoys running, skiing, reading, cooking and playing piano.
